Sidewalk chalk

Who needs Textpattern, WordPress, or Movable Type when all you really need is a sidewalk and a can of chalk? While taking my standard Sunday morning stroll down 3rd Avenue for some darjeeling, jalapeño & cheese bread, and a New York Times, I stumbled upon a chalk message on the sidewalk:

“What is your favorite meal?“

Leave behind a can of sidewalk chalk and wham-o!, you’ve got yourself a source of sidewalk inspiration. Yeah, yeah… I know this is a bit of a cliched analogy, but the premise is parallel to a comments-open entry on a blog with a fair amount of [foot] traffic.
